Biography

James was born about 1848. He was the son of Samuel Given and Mary Taylor.

He and his wife, Rose Anna, emigrated to New Zealand in 1874, on the Queen of Nations, from Belfast to Auckland, along with his brothers, Samuel and Hugh, and their families.

James and his wife Rose Anna tragically passed away in a fire, in 1913. [1]
