Biography
Joseph Alexander Givens was born on 26 Jan 1865 in Camden County, Missouri and died on 19 Feb 1953 in Laclede County, Missouri. [1], [2]
Joseph Givens father died in the Civil War before he was born and his mother died two years later. He was 2 years old and Rhoda (Wallace) Darrow took him in and raised him. She also probably had a hand in caring for his brother, Charles. Rhoda's granddaughter Emma Darrow married Joseph on 4 Feb 1897 in Lacleded, Missouri. They had four daughters by this union.
