Biography
When Nancy Jane Givens was born on September 6, 1821, in Butler, Kentucky, her father, James, was 23, and her mother, Eady, was 22. She married Benjamin Franklin Grubb on June 28, 1844. She died on August 1, 1901, in Bourbon, Kansas, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried in Fort Scott, Kansas.
