1899 Mary Givens was born 8 Nov 1899 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA to John B. Givens and Madge Ethel Heiby.[1][2]
1900 When Mary was just about one year old, her family lived in Milwaukee Ward 20, Precinct 3, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA. Her father, John, worked as a bookkeeper. He and his wife had been married for about four years.
1925 Mary married James McGill Annand, son of George A. Annand and Mary M. McGill, in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan on 25 May 1925.[5]
1930 Mary and James had settled in a rented apartment on Burlingame Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, USA. James was employed as a "commercial traveler" (salesman?) in art and Mary did clerical work for an advertising agency. They employed an elderly housekeeper.
1940 Mary and James continued to live in Detroit, Michigan throughout the 1930s and into 1940. James was working as a salesman for a newspaper and Mary was employed as a stenographer for an advertising and printing company. They had no children.[7]
1942 When James registered for the US WWII draft, he and Mary were living at 14352 Ardmore, Detroit, Michigan, USA and James was still employed by the Times Publishing Company in Detroit, Michigan.[8]
1987 Mary Givens Annand died Jun 1987 in Sumter County, Georgia, USA. She was 88 years old.[9]
