Anders Gjestsen was born in Norway

He married Gudlaug Gullichsdatter Aadna (daughter of Gullich Aadna and Anne Andersdatter Aadna).[2]
He died in 1714 at Frønes, Kilebygda.[1]
A probate was held 15 October 1724 at Frønes, Kilebygda after the deceased couple Anders Jestsen and Gulloug Gullichsdatter. Their children:

- Ole Andersen, all of age,
- Anne Andersdatter, married to Anders Larsen Egelund,
- Kari Andersdatter, married to Ole Linda,
