Jacques was born in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Effingham, Lower Canada on 13 May 1800, son of André Gladu and Louise Roture. He was baptized there the same day. [1]

He passed away in 1832, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Effingham, Lower Canada.
