Biography

Charles Gladwin was born about 1753. He married Frances (Stanhope) Gladwin in 1784. Together, they were the parents of Henry Arthur Gladwin. It is unclear when he died, but when his wife (Frances (Stanhope) Gladwin), his son (Henry Arthur Gladwin), and his son's wife (Charlotte Wollery (Bourke) Gladwin) emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1822, Charles Gladwin did not go with them. He passed away in about 1826.
