Biography

Harry was born on 19th June, 1890 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, to Harry Matthew Glansford and his wife Mary Ann McCarthy. [1][2]

In the 1901 census, Harry is recorded living at the Trinity House Home [3] aged 10 and a Fisherman's child. [4] By this time his Father was deceased.

By the time the 1911 census was made, Harry's mother had remarried, and Harry was back living with her and his new Step Father and siblings in 125 Woodcock St Hull, Sculcoates, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (East Riding), England. [5]

In 1920, in Sculcoates, Harry married Lizzie Credgington (Thompson) Crawley.[7]

In 1939, Harry was recorded living at 72 Askew Avenue , Kingston-upon-Hull C.B., Yorkshire (East Riding), England. [8]
