Hi Linda, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your Irish Roots, I wanted to let you know we have a lively project that focuses on Irish family here called the Irish Roots Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.
The project pages contain lots of advice, links videos etc for researching Irish ancestors.
You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the Irish Roots Project will be happy to help you in any way they can. Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.
Welcome to our community, Linda. The more ancestors you add, the more likely cousins will find you and help--hopefully with your Glanville mysteries. :)
Our Honor Code, G2G forum, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of the page.
Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.
Irish Glanville ancestors and have reached
stage where most of the records have been
destroyed But hope there are family members out there who shed a light about how the
Glanvilles came to Westmeath and Dublin Also whether there was two James Glanvilles
of Westmeath born c 1796 and whether
there is link with the Glanvilles of Waterford
To help you find your way, the help pages and search features can be accessed through the links on the upper right hand corner of almost any page. Feel free to post a question in the G2G Forum or on a relevant profile page.
If you would like to contribute to Wikitree, please click the Volunteer link to receive your Volunteer badge, and post a comment here on your profile to tell us that you are interested in family history and wish to join us.
We will be very glad to welcome you to the WikiTree Community.
