Biography

Charlotte was born in 1858. She is the daughter of Daniel Glanville and Eliza Hughes.

James Lloyd married Charlotte Glanville at St John's Church of England church, Darlinghurst, in Sydney in 1886. They had 8 children.

James and Charlotte lived in Fleet St, Carlton, in a house they named "Knightwick". They also lived at 46 Grey St, Carlton, in Hazelbrook and Kurnell, and later in life, lived back at 46 Grey St, Carlton, with daughter Daphne Pearce and family. James and Charlotte owned at least 4 shops in Carlton, one of which was operated by son Clyde. Both Charlotte and James died at home, at 46 Grey St, Carlton.
