Biography
Carol was born March 12, 1935 in Moline, the daughter of Ivan and Merle (Gardner) Glanz. She married Theodore Porter on November 13, 1954 in Moline. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1990.
Carol worked at the former Moline Public Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons; Steve (Vanessa) Porter, Moline, Marc (Tammy) Porter, Overland Park, KS and Bryan Porter, Moline; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and brother, David (Jean) Glanz, Moline. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas.
