Henrietta "Yetta" Glaser was born in Thurgingen, Germany, 17 Mar 1818. She was the daughter of Ashur "Oscar" Glaser and Bertha "Bettie" Saline.[1] She had 6 siblings, all born in Germany between 1819 and 1834. 3 died in Ohio, and 3 died in Chicago.

Henrietta immigrated to the USA, probably with her parents and siblings in 1848.[2]
