Biography

Amos Glasford, son of Isaac Glasford and Jane VanDyne Glasford, was born about 1836 in Indiana.[1]

He married Eliza Ellen Hamilton, daughter of Joseph and Eliza (Stevens) Hamilton, on 19 Nov. 1866 in Lee County, Iowa.[2][3]

He was a farmer when he and Eliza appeared on the census of 31 Aug. 1870 at Montrose, Lee, Iowa.[4]

He married Nancy E. (Horn)Tompkins, daughter of Jos. B. Horn, on 1 March 1891 at David County, Iowa.[1]
