Biography
John Gless, who was born in Germany, spent his entire life in that country. He was a farmer, owning forty acres of land, and was a man of influence in his community. He married Mary Becht, and they had children: Caroline, who lives in France; Felix, of further mention; Ernestine, married Charles Shawn; Emeline, married John Korper, lives in Germany; Mary, deceased ; Charles, lives with his brother Felix on the homestead in Shaler township, and is engaged in gardening.

(John A. Wolfram) Mr. Wolfram married, October 27, 1912, Annie, daughter of Felix and Sabina (Pfoff) Glass, and granddaughter of Carl Glass, who was a gardener of Alsace-Lorraine, France, before the acquisition of that territory by Germany.
