Charles married Alice F Hunt[7][8] on 30 December 1900[7][8] in Belmont County, Ohio, United States[7][8].

Charles and Alice had 1 daughter: Jessie A/F (Glass) Duerr/Watts[13][11][12].

Charles' wife Alice passed away within a few days of their daughter's birth.

Charles married Emma Helmsdoerfer[9][10][11][12] on 27 June 1906[9][10] in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, United States[9][10].
