William Glasscock (1775-1850) was born in Virginia (in what is now Harrison County, West Virginia.) He was the son of Thomas Glascock (1731-1799) and Agnes Agatha Rector (1746-1793). [1]
William married Mahala Alice Cole (1779-1859) on March 14, 1798 in Fauquier, Virginia. The couple had at least four children Hannah Glascock Wood (1802–1891) and Margaret Glasscock Boilen/Boylen (1804–1880), Spencer Glascock (1815–1911) and Chapin Glasscock (1823–1882).
William died in about 1850 in what is now Taylor County, West Virginia.
