Biography

Frieda Ricke "Ricka" Glasser was born on March 10, 1869, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Lena Cavenaugh and John Glasser. She was married four times, first to Joseph 'Joe' V. Kuchenbrod, Sr. (1868–1896) on January 31, 1889 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky;^[1] their known children are:

• George Joseph Kuchenbrod (1889–1961)^[2]
• Henry 'Harry' S Kuchenbrod, Sr. (1891–1969)^[3]
• Joseph V Kuchenbrod, Jr. (1893–aft.1900)

After Joe's death she remarried to Charles Emhoff (1866–1901), c.1898;^[4] they had at least two children:

• Charles Edward Emhoff (1899–1972)
• Nellie Mae Elizabeth Emhoff (1901–1975)^[5][6]

She married third to C. A. Schmitt (Charles A. of New York?) on July 7, 1907 Louisville;^[7] there were two witnesses: Rosa Glasser & Erastus Suter. Ricka married last to widower Samuel Wesley Harmon (1860–1947)^[8] on July 12, 1919 in Scottsburg, Scott, Indiana, USA.^[9] She died on July 6, 1950, in Jefferson, Kentucky,^[10] at the age of 81, and was buried in her hometown.^[11]
