Michel Henri Glaude was born at Ste-Rosalie, Quebec on June 23, 1869 and he was baptized there the same day. ^[1] He was the sixth child of eight and the fourth son of six for Michel Henri Labossiere and Genevieve Desmarais.

Michel must have moved to the United States some time about or before 1891 as he married Delina St-Onge in 1893. The marriage record has not been found, but it is recorded in the 1957 Labossiere Family Tree of Fr. Alphonse Claude Labossiere who was a half first cousin to Michel Glaude. Michel and Delina lived at Williamantic, CT and had two children there, Aldea born Nov. 11, 1894 and Eva born Feb. 4, 1895. Delina died shortly after the second child.

Michel Glaude married a second time to Virginie Giard at Putnam, CT in 1896. They had one known child, a son, Theodore born in 1902. This record is also only from the Family Tree of Fr. Alphonse Claude Labossiere.
