US 1900 census Connecticut Putnam ED 523, Ward 3-4, Sheet 17B, Lines 68-74: Louis Alderic Glaude, 33 Anna Ritcher – Glaude, 30 five children: Elmar, 10; Auror, 8, Bernard, 8, Dosenot, 3, and Alice, 1. [1] The names of the children are slightly corrupted from those listed in the 1957 Family Tree. Also, Louis is listed as born July 1867, but his baptism record clearly shows May 1871, so he was really 29 at the time of this census. Some of the children are listed as the wrong gender.
1910 US Census Connecticut, New London, Norwich, Ocean Village, ED530 Sheet 13B, Lines 67-76: Louis Glaude, 43 – Anna (Amie) Ritcher, Glaude, 37; 7 children, 1 son in law: Edward, 19; Orah (Aurore), 18; Bernadette Glaude – Caisse, 17; and husband, Antoine Casse (Antoine Caisse), 22; Deana Gledde (Docina Glaude), 12; Alice Gledde (Glaude), 10; Mitchell Gledde (Michel Glaude), 8; Chales Gledde (Charles Gledde), 2. [2] This census has badly corrupted the both the forenames and the surnames of the household. This shows that Anna Ritcher has now had eleven children and five have died, however, there are seven children with the parents, so only four have died.
