John Isaac was born on the 1 May 1815 in the Hamlet of Hammersmith, West London, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, in Middlesex, England[1]. His parents were John "Dickenson" Glaysher and Maria Huse.

He is baptized on the 4 June 1815 at the Parish Church of St. Paul, Queen Caroline Street, Hamlet of Hammersmith, West London, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, in Middlesex, England[2].

Marriage

John Isaac (Glaysher) marries Ann Rose (Peck) on the 11 September 1836 at the Parish Church of St Clement Danes, The Strand, in the City of Westminster, London, in Middlesex, England[3].

John and Harriet live with his daughter, Kezia Ann (Glaysher) and their surname is misspelt as "Glayher" on the Census Record[7]. When the 1891 Census arrives, they are still at Burnt House Farm in the Village of Forest Row and Kezia Ann (Glaysher) is living with John and Harriet (Tidey)[8].

John Isaac is employed as a Farmer of 247 acres employing 7 men and 2 boys with the Census of 1861. He is still involved in Farming with the arrival of the 1871 Census. The 1881 Census reveals John is still farming at Burnt House Farm and is a Farmer of 40 Acres Employing 2 Men and 1 Boy.

Death/Burial

John Isaac (Glaysher) passes away on the 27 February 1896 at Burnt House Farm, Village of Forest Row, located three miles (5 km) south-east of the Town of East Grinstead, East Grinstead Parish, Sussex, England. He was 80 years old at the time of his death[9]. He is interred in the Parish Churchyard of the Holy Trinity, Lewes Road, Village of Forest Row, East Sussex, England[10][11].
