Biographical Sketch of Worthington O Glaze [1]Worthington O Glaze, son of Joseph and Margaret (Cramer) Glaze, was reared on his grandfather's farm. He acquired his education in the public schools and at the Frederick City College. He followed the occupation of a farmer until 1891, when he retired from active labor. Mr. Glaze is the owner of the old homestead, which is known as Independence, and contains 225 acres of the finest limestone land in the county. No. 117 East Church Street, Frederick City, which was originally built and owned by John McGill. Mr. Glaze votes the Republican ticket. Religiously, he is a member of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Frederick City. Mr. Glaze was married in 1885 to Annie M Myers, daughter of George W Myers, a native of Frederick County. There was one child by this marriage, which died in childhood.
