Maggie Brewer's death record indicates that she died June 22, 1842, in Liberty Township, Highland county, Ohio. [1] Her Find A Grave memorial, based on her obituary, indicates that she died in the hospital, in Dayton, Ohio.
Obituary
Mrs. William Brewer, 61, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, early Monday morning.Mrs. Brewer had been ill for some time and was taken to the hospital Sunday for treatment.
Funeral service will be held at the D.M. Evans funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev, G.G. Hughes. Burial will be made in the Hillsboro cemetery. Surviving are the husband and one daughter, Rosa M. Brewer. [2]
Susan M. Surber was born in 1880, in Pike county, Ohio, a daughter of Thamas J. Glaze and Susan M. Lock(e). Susan's first husband was W. A Surber. That marriage ended i divorce. On January 29, 1915, when Susan was twenty-nine years of age, in Franklin county, Ohio, Susan married William F. Brewer, born in Highland county, Ohio, a son of Jackson Brewer and Martha (Daugherty) Brewer. [3]
