Alan was born in 1939[1] and he was the son of John H Glazier and Emily M Cox.
He played darts from 1961 and he was one of the first darts professionals to make a career for himself in the 1970 and one of the first players who appeared in the very first World Professional Darts Championship in 1978
He was part of the British Darts Organisations from 1978 when he lost to Alan Evans until he quit in 1997.
He passed away in 2020.
