Biography

When Ervin Jay Gleason was born on July 24, 1859, in Goodfarm, Illinois ^[1], his father, Addison Gleason, was 32 and his mother, Lovisa E Dickson, was 28 ^[2]. He married Hettie Permelia Brewster on September 16, 1883, in Hollister, California when he was 24 years old. They had six children during their marriage. He died on January 2, 1905, in San Juan Bautista, California, at the age of 45, and was buried in Hollister, California. ^[3]
