Biography
Philip was born in 1817 and baptised on 16 Feb 1817 at St Mary's, Stockport, Cheshire. [1]
Philip married Eliza Darlington in Nether Knutsford, Cheshire on 26 January 1836, when he was 19 years old. [2]
In the 1841 Census Philip was 24 years old and a tailor by profession and was living in Mottram Street, Stockport with his wife and extended family. [3]
