Biography

Martin was born in 1901. He was the son of John Glenn and Johanna Lynch.

In 1910, 9 year old Martin Francis was living with parents John and Johanna Glenn and siblings Michael (7), Margaret (4) and Katherine (1). Father John was working at a copper mine and the family owned their own home on Buffalo Street in Silver Bow, Montana. Also residing at the home were Johanna's children from a previous marriage; John, Mary, Dan and Patrick Sullivan. Both of Martin's parents were born in Ireland; John had emigrated in 1892 and Johanna in 1886.[1]

On March 1, 1922 Martin Glenn, 21, married Mildred Smith, 18, at Butte, Montana where they were both residents. Mildred was born in St Louis, Missouri to John Smith and Emma Malone.[2]

Martin died in 1924 at the age of 23 in a mine accident. He was born in 1901 to John Glenn and Johanna Lynch. Married at the time of his death to Mildred Glynn, he worked for Butte & Superior Mines where the accident occurred. Mrs M F Glynn was informant.[3]
