James Glenn

SAREPTA James Hubert Glenn, 92, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a retired farmer and cattleman. He was a member of Sarepta Baptist Church and a charter member of Camp Phillips Still Hunting Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with the Rev. Sam Holcomb and the Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Sarepta Cemetery.

Survivors include one brother, Walter Glenn of Bruce; one sister, Ila Glenn Anglin of Bruce; two nieces, Gloria Glenn Magness of Huntsville, Ala., and Martha Glenn Reese of Collierville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrle Yancy Glenn, on Sept. 4, 1986; and his parents, George Hollis Glenn and Janie Dickson Glenn.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Reese Jr., Jay Reese, James Magness, Yancy Magness, Herbert Dickson and Scotty Box.
