Henry Glover was born in about 1801 in Rainhill, Lancashire.
Henry married Winifred Mary Brindle on 22 Feb 1830 at St Peter's Church in Liverpool, Lancashire, by licence. Both were of the local parish; Henry was a cordwainer, Winifred was a spinster. The witnesses were Richard Tippin and Hannah Roser.[1]
Their daughter Margaret was born in about 1832 in Prescot, Lancashire.
Their daughter Elizabeth was born in about 1833 in Prescot.
Their daughter Ann was born in about 1835 in Lancashire.
Their son James was born in about 1837 in Lancashire.
Their daughter Winifred Mary was born in 1839 in Eccleston.[2]
By June 6th 1841, they were living in New Brighton, Eccleston. Henry was a shoe maker, and his apprentice William Carr was living with the family. Elizabeth Leyland, a female servant aged between 65 and 69, was also living with them.
Henry and Winifred's daughter Ann was born in about 1843 in Eccleston.
By March 30th 1851, they were still in Eccleston, and Henry was a master shoemaker.
In the 1841 census Henery (age 40) was in New Brighton, Prescot, Lancashire, England.[3]
In the 1851 census Henry (age 50) was the married head of household in Yew Tree Place, Eccleston, Lancashire, England.[4]
