John was born in 1873. He is the son of Michael Glynn and Bridget Whyte.
1873 Baptised in the parish of Ballinasloe on 29th December. Date of birth recorded as 16th December. Sponsors were James Whyte (abt.1852-1942) and Margaret Byrnes.[1][2]
1874 birth registered by his father on 6th February. Date of birth recorded as 16th January[3][4]
1898 Married Katie J Flynn in Hyde Park. Age recorded as 24 years and occupation recorded as motorman.[5][6]
