Anne was the daughter of John Gobert of Bosworth, Leicestershire.[1] She was baptised 5 August 1593, Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire.[2]

m1. Thomas Legh,[1] married August 1610 at Adlington[3]
m2. Alexander Rigby of Middleton in Goosnargh, Lancashire, the distinguished Parliamentarian commander, who was also a Baron of the Exchequer and M.P. for Wigan[3] (Richardson does not mention this marriage). They had a son, Alexander.
m3. Sir John Booth of Woodford, Cheshire.[3] In 1659, John Booth remarried to [this] Anne Gobert, widow of Thomas Legh, Esq., and daughter of John Gobert of Bosworth, Lincolnshire. They had no children.[1]
This lady had twelve children to Thomas Legh, all shown in the Visitations.[4]
