Biography

Unknown daughter of a Goddard of Herefordshire, who may have been the wife of a John Baskerville, and possibly the mother of Grace Baskerville.[1][2][3][4][5]

In the will of Anne Baskervyle made in 1512/1513[6] she made a bequest to Grace Patten, wife of Richard Patten of London, Sherman. The will indicates that Anne Baskervyle was the widow of John Baskervyle and that he had been buried at Bermondsey Abbey. Perhaps Anne was the second wife of John Baskervyle as in her will she did not refer to Grace Patten as her daughter.

A case between John Baskervyle and the Mayor of London indicates that Anne the wife of John Baskervyle had previously been the wife of Richard Crakenthorp.[7]
