Biography

Jacob was born in 1852, the son of John Goddard and Prudence Tryon. He married Sarah Ford in 1872. He married Anna julia (Pruner) Todd in 1907. He died in 1920. He was a farmer (1900 census) and coal miner (1910 census).

Research Notes

His birth date is under seven months before his sister Sarah. His dob is from Findagrave which agrees with the 1900 census (Apr 1852) and hers is from her death certificate. His death record says he was 65 which gives a birth year of about 1855.
