Thomas was born in 1650. He was the son of Richard Goddard and Ann Boweman and was baptised at Swindon, Wiltshire on 7 Feb 1649. [1]
On 5 Oct 1674 he married Mary Pleydell of Shrivenham, Berkshire. [2] Mary and Thomas had at least 5 children baptised at Swindon:

Between 1679 and 1704 Thomas was enumerated in the North Wiltshire Tax Censuses. [3] In 1682 Thomas was named in the will of his mother in law Martha Pleydell. [4]
In Apr 1703 Thomas was one of the overseers of his brother in law Charles Bowle's will. [5]
He died in Mar 1704/5 and was buried at Swindon on 8 Mar 1704/5. [6]
