"I'm not sure when Winnie was born, but it was most likely to be April 1907... Winnie married and had two children, Margaret and Roger - I don't remember her husband's name."[3]

1911 Census, Tottenham, North Eastern Hospital, St Anns Road, lists a 4 year old Winnie Golden, born Tottenham, as a patient., amongst a page of others.[4][5]

1934 Electoral Register: 93 Sperling Road, Tottenham North, Haringey: Godden, Ellen Mary RwDw, George Richard Rw O, Winnie May Rw.[6]
