Without objection, I have gone ahead and added Goodwin-5046 as a rejected match, splitting out children William, Benjamin, Richard, Abraham, and Elijah.

I think there is a bad merge here. There is no source here for anything except the marriage, of Captain Abraham Godwin and Phebe Cool. I have been unsuccessful finding any evidence that this is the same as the Abraham Goodwin of Delaware Water Gap (born 1719?) whose children were pioneers of Goodwin's Point. In fact, the Goodwin Families in America supplement of William and Mary College Quartery (vol viii, No 2, Oct 1899), explicitly rejects this.

I have not found any newer research or sources establishing the link, although they are merged on many family trees. I believe the Goodwin children here should be split out to a new Abraham Goodwin, of unknown parentage.

Abraham is 33 degrees from Rosa Parks, 33 degrees from Anne Tichborne and 29 degrees from Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland on our single family tree. Login to find your connection.
