Willis Goff was born about 1800 in South Carolina. He married Nancy (surname unknown) who was born about 1814 in Georgia. Willis and Nancy Goff appear in the 1850 census as living in Dale County, Alabama. Also shown are five children: Sarah Ann, age 11; Mary Ann, age 8; Joseph, age 6; Benjamin, age 4; and Daniel, age 1.
