Biography

When Lieut. Samuel Goff was born on July 6, 1694, in Berkshire, Massachusetts, his father, Anthony, was 37 and his mother, Sarah, was 24. He married Rachel Toogood on December 25, 1718, in Swansea, Massachusetts. Samuel was a Lieutenant in the Massachusetts Militia. Samuel and Rachel had three children in 10 years.

10 March 1726 or 27 Samuel Goff was appointed guardian of his brothers Hezekian and James.

He Passed away on Nov. 28, 1771 Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA, having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried there.
