This profile is part of the Goff Name Study.

James Goff, the son of John Goff and Margaret Goff (nee Carling) dies at the age of 16 in 1848. One of 4 brothers to die within a few weeks of each other in Richmond Union Workhouse (perhaps from Cholera?), 18 months after their mother dies (with Walter George, William and John). He was baptised on 15 Dec 1833 and buried on 13 Feb 1849 - both at Barnes St Mary.
