Harriett was born in 1810. Her parents were Robert and Mary Goforth. She was christened on 27 January 1810 at Saint John And Saint Martin Church, Beverley, Yorkshire.^[1]

William Winter and Harriott Goforth married on 4 May 1829 at Saint John And Saint Martin Church, Beverley, Yorkshire. ^[2]
