Biography
Lambert Drew Goggin was born on 8 November 1815 in Limerick. He was the eldest son of Stephen Byrum Goggin, a printer, and his wife Eliza Drew, daughter of Lambert Drew of Scariff.
He married Eliza Rutledge on 9 July 1837 at Limerick.
On Sunday in the temporary church, Bedford Row, by the Rev Dawson MASSY, Mr Lambert Drew GOGGIN to Eliza third daughter of Mr Sidney Ievers RUTLEDGE and granddaughter of William TAYLOR Esq Capt in her Majesty's 28th Regt[1]
Lambert and Eliza had at least the following children:
- Rosabelle Goggin
- Elizabeth Drew Goggin
- Nancy Goggin
- Stephen Byrum Goggin
on 3 April 1837, he presented at the court of Claims for admission to the Freemen of Limerick via his father's previous admission.[2][3]
In 1851, Lambert lived with his family at Bermondsey, Surrey, England. He was a printer.[4]
