John Goins was born about 1807 to Charles Goins and Elizabeth Blair, and passed away in 1886.

John married Dorathy Furnace on 22 Sep 1827 in Gallatin County, Kentucky. [1]

In the 1860 US census John (age 53) was in Gallatin County, Kentucky.[2]

In the 1870 US census John (age 72), Farmer, was in District 3, Gallatin County, Kentucky.[3]

In the 1880 US census John (age 80), Pauper, was recorded as married in Warsaw, Gallatin County, Kentucky.[4]
