According to the Cincinnati Land Records, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. The Indiana Survey-land lying west of a meridian drawn west of the Great Miami River (known as the "Gore"). Switzerland , Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Union and Randolph Counties (all or only a part of each county)-all in Indiana. A purchaser of land did not have to pay taxes for five years-(no tax records). Land sold for .25 to .00 per acre, most was sold in 40-160 acre parcels.
