Biography

May Goldberg age 7 (nationality British) emigrated to Australia with her parents Myer (42) and Millie (35) Goldberg and siblings Pauline (14) Golda (11) Sidney (10) and Rita (5) on the ship Barbarossa, which departed Bremen and arrived (via Melbourne) in Sydney on 13 Feb 1911. [1] [2]

May Goldberg married Samuel Jessop (eldest son of Mrs A Jessop of Wellington, New Zealand) 15 May 1947 at Temple Emanuel, Woollahra, New South Wales. [3]

May died on 25 February 1984 in Sydney [4] and was buried in Rookwood Cemetery. [5]
