Biography

Minnie R. Golden was born in Walsingham, Canada on September 25, 1876. She was the daughter of George Golden ^[1] and Abagail Thomas.

She married Alex R. Sampson at Walkerville, Canada on June 6, 1899. Alex was born in Scotland about 1869, son of William and Mary (Aiken) Sampson. ^[1]

She married second, Daniel Harry Mackey on October 25, 1904 at Detroit, Michigan. Daniel was born in Michigan on November 17, 1871, son of Fred and Mary (Baker) Mackey. ^[2]

Their children, Lucille, Alice, Gordon, Dorothy and Nelda were born in Michigan, before the family moved to Florida by 1920. ^[3]

Daniel/Harry died in San Luis Obispo, California on November 13, 1957. ^[4]

Minnie died on February 28, 1965 at Fresno, California.^[5][6]
