From Find-A-Grave: "George William Golden was the son of Jonathan Robert and Hester Jane Preston Golden. He was the second oldest sibling in a family of ten including: James, William Porter, Jedidiah Waldo, James Flave, Sarah J., Charles Albert, Wilson B., Margaret S. (Pugh), and Susan Hester (Sayres).
After the death of his mother, his father married Martha Ann Columbia Martin. To this union the following siblings were born: Emma S.(Gregory), Harmon Anderson, John Robert, Mary R., and Emmet Wayland.
On November 11, 1865 he married Elizabeth Ann Morris in Harrison County, WV. They had seven known children including: Alice Mae, Isaac Benjamin, Edith E., Charles F., Jonathan, George, and Bessie.
According to the 1880 census of Harrison County, WV, George was a blacksmith by trade."
