Obituary.
Mrs Emily Sternbeck, wife of Mr C. G. Sternbeck, of Murray's Run, Wollombi district, died at a private hospital in Cessnock, on Tuesday morning, from pneumonia, after being an inmate of the institution a little over a week. The deceased was only 35 years of age and is survived by her husband and eleven children, the youngest being only five weeks old. The deceased was a native of Wollombi and was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Goldsmith. A daughter, 16 years of age, is at present an inmate of the private hospital with pneumonia, but happily is improving. The remains of the deceased were interred in the Church of England portion of the Wollombi Cemetery on Wednesday.
