Biography

Henry was born in 1873 to Thomas Goldsmith and Emma Small. [1] [2]

He arrived in Rockhampton, Queensland with his parents and siblings Frank, Arthur & Emmeline on the "Hampshire" in November 1883. [3]

He married Margaret Dunn in 1899. [4]

His boot shop/hairdresser in Ganmain was accidentally destroyed by fire on the 8th of April, 1930 along with the adjoining Ganmain Express newspaper office. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]

Following the fire the family moved to Leeton. His wife passed away in 1931 in Leeton, just over 12 months later.

He passed away in 1946. [10] [11] [12]
