Notes from external profile

Note: Marriage record (25 May 1879) for Kive Segel and Leah Rosen show Marx and Mary (Goldstein) Rosen as parents. However, Leah is alternately given maiden name of Goldstein. Marx and Mary may be uncle and aunt, who acted as her parents to support her underage marriage. Another possibility is that Marx was Mary's second husband (which agrees with Leah's death certificate). Obit says Leah came from Russia alone at the age of 5, which supports this.
