Andrew Thomas Gollan was born on 1 Jun 1860 in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia, son of Alexander Gollan (1826 - 1908) and Caroleine Mary (Weber) Gollan (~1839 - 1922). ^[1]

At this time, Andy went to live with his Uncle Jack (who was managing the property "Archerfield" near Singleton) around age 17. It appears the other children went to live with other uncles. [2]
