With the death of his wife Hannah in 1895, the children went to live with their grandparents, Alex and Caroline, at least until the death of their grandfather. At this time, Andy went to live with his Uncle Jack (who was managing the property "Archerfield" near Singleton) around age 17. It appears the other children went to live with other uncles. [2]
Andrew married Ellen Grace Tate (~1859 - 1925) on 2 Jan 1902 in Sydney NSW, Australia by Rev George Hay. [4][5]
Andrew died on 3 Mar 1931 in Orange, New South Wales aged 70.
