Biography

Rosina is on the 1860, 1870 and 1880 US censuses. [1] [2] She is found on the Dewitt County Tax Rolls starting in 1869.[3] The only source for her last name found thus far is her son Alphonse's birth document [4] and the US census of 1880 "Rosina G. Koenig". [5] Edward Koenig's census record states his year of immigration was 1860. [6] Rosina died Apr. 5, 1897 and was buried at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery; Meyersville, DeWitt County, Texas, USA. [7]
